So, what's the situation with iPowerwed? Have they gave you a reason why they did it or responded to any of your email, calls, meesages, etc? Cause I would be harassing them until they gave my money back. Btw, 7.95/month for hosting is a lot, unless you need all that space. I'm renewing my host in April for like 18/year but new people pay 1.95/month. The downfall is you will have only 100 MB but I barely use 20%.
Ipower web renewed the last chunk of money they extracted to my credit card. I guess I could take that pic down now because they could be a whole lot worse.
I get domain name's through 1and1 now for 5.99 a pop, and I will prob switch to them for hosting this site when my time is up this year (in April, I think), for the sole reason they havent done anythig to piss me off yet. Who do you host your site(s) with?
IPowerWeb has gone downhill. When I first signed up with them, Tech support was great. Email them and receive a email back same day. Call them and get a person in about 5-6 minutes.
Try that today, and good luck. You no longer are able to log in to your affiliate control panel. They owe me 4 sales @ $100 each. No responce by either phone or email. Many ISP's block ipowerweb servers from emailing them. (probably due to a spammer on the same server) I used to reccommend Ipowerweb.. but I feel bad for all the people I told about them.. IpowerWeb Sucks!

Nevermind that Comment. Looks like a problem with my own Comp. And they finally emailed me about 1 of my Checks. hmmm..
god, i wish i had done a google search before i signed up with ipowerweb, i ordered a virtual server with 10 domains, 3 days later i have 1 domain, and the other 9 are still available through register.com/network solutions, i've gotten the run around for the past 2 days, being switched from billing to tech support to sales and back all over again. Never again!!
I have been using Ipowerweb for 3 years. At first they were ok. But for the last year there service and tech support has been really bad. The main reason I am posting here is last week they billed $20.00 to renew a domain for which they did not do. They now informed me to that the domain is in redemption period and they want an additional $160.00 to complete the renewing of my domain.
After some investigation, it appears they have registered the domain themselves and are trying to make a profit to selling it back to me. Why you may ask? The domain in question had Google PageRank of 5 and tons of backlinks and traffic. I will never use their services again, but if you decide to because of their low prices, I highly recommend you to register you owned domain yourself via someone like www.directnic.com This way you have full control over your domain and not have to through a third party such as ipowerweb. I will let you know if they refund my $20.00 or if they wave the additional $160.00 charge.
ipower shut our web site down , It took 4 days to get an expalation. It seems some asshole was using our Outlook to spam the universe. But knowing this ipower punished us by shutting our site down. now they will not transferr our domain name to another server... these people are pricks...........
