hunting jobs
life is like a box of comments.
Comments:
At least you're white and male enough to have a large enough safty net so that you could move out to california and not need a job for three or four years.

All sarcasm aside, job searching is difficult and depressing. I say, give up and work for The Other Barnes & Noble.

What job asks you to take a personality test? If you you are taking a personality test for job interview purposes, then of course you lie. If you really want to know more about your personality take a real test on your own. There are plenty out there.

Well I had enough saved up to last me until about... yesterday -- so my safety net is about to break. And I don't believe keeping good credit has anything to do with being white or male.

Natalie actually took the personality test at The Other Barnes & Nobles. I'd rather not say which place the questions I was talking about here is, but I also took one at Bank of America, and apparently I'm not teller material. I prob shouldnt have said I don't like standing behind a counter for very long or not having any weight in managerial decisions.

I can't tell if you're joking about me lying, but yeah there are personality tests for jobs out here in Cali. Maybe it's just for big, customer service type businessesesesesss.

As for those real tests you speak of, I took one of them once way back when Jeanette used to visit here, remember those days?
At the time I was an ENFJ.
I wonder if I've changed...
I think I'm more of an a-hole.

Are you applying at Wal-Mart??? All my clients have to take that test and answer those questions---OF COURSE--I have to lie about the answers---some of the answers my clients give are way off and there would be no way they would get hired anywhere---they do have good explainations of their answers though--thank goodness I have the answers the employer is looking for:)

I still visit.

I really think interviews are for the sole purpose of judging how well someone can dance on thier toes, and for how long.

For example: If I was an employer and I wanted a meek quiet girl to work as my assistant -- I'd choose someone who stuttered nervously through the interview.

However if I was an employeer looking to hire a sales associate I'd hire someone that seemed very clear headed, upity, and have too much personality overflow during the interview.

Really the interview lays solely on what the employer is expecting out of the person to fill the part.
